Love in action for our brothers and sisters in need of support in Venezuela

A week after Venezuela's devastating twin earthquakes, families are facing a crisis that has moved beyond rescue into recovery. This is a moment that calls us to respond as one body in Christ.

“If one part suffers, every part suffers with it” (1 Corinthians 12:26)

Many in the Paz y Esperanza family have loved ones who are hurting deeply this week. We invite you to join us in solidarity — in prayer and in financial support — for Venezuela.
Give today so PHI can send funds to our contacts on the ground: pastors and churches who have faithfully served their communities through more than a decade of economic and political crisis, and who are now opening their doors to neighbors who have lost everything.
Two earthquakes, measuring 7.2 and 7.5 in magnitude, struck about 100 miles west of Caracas on June 24th — the largest earthquakes in the area in more than a century.
As of July 1st, Venezuelan officials have counted 1,943 deaths and more than 10,500 injuries, with over 40,600 people still missing or unaccounted for. Doctors now warn that untreated wounds and infection are becoming the greatest danger to survivors, as hospitals — many damaged in the quakes — struggle with shortages of basic medical supplies. Thousands are still without clean water or shelter.
