Projects have various business costs, including the cost of receiving international volunteers and interns. We are so grateful that many people around the world are interested in learning and serving with our teams in Paz y Esperanza field offices. Peace and Hope International (PHI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States and donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
* According to IRS guidelines, tax-deductible gifts may not be restricted for the sole benefit of an individual. Although your gift given on behalf of a participant will be counted toward their fundraising goal, donors should be aware that tax deductible gifts are being donated to PHI and not to the participant directly. PHI must retain sole control and discretion over the use of the funds once a tax-deductible receipt is issued. The tax-deductible gift is non-refundable, even if the participant through which the gift was made becomes unable or unwilling to participate in the program.
